What is Skip-counting?
Skip-counting is counting by numbers other than 1!
It's like taking big jumps instead of small steps when you count. When we skip-count, we find patterns that help us learn multiplication tables later. Today we'll use number tables to make it extra fun!
How to Skip-count with Tables
1️⃣ Pick a number to skip by (like 2, 5, or 10)
2️⃣ Color the numbers you land on in the table
3️⃣ Say the numbers aloud as you find them

Example 1: Counting by 2s
Click on the numbers you would say when counting by 2s:

Example 2: Counting by 5s
Let's try counting by 5s! Fill in the missing numbers:
5, __, 15, __, 25, __, __, 40
The complete pattern is: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40
