What Are Addition Sentences?
Addition is like putting things together to make a bigger group!
When we write addition problems, we call them "addition sentences." They have numbers and a plus sign (+), and they always end with an equal sign (=) and the total amount.
How to Solve Addition Problems
1️⃣ Count the first group of items
2️⃣ Count the second group of items
3️⃣ Count all the items together to find the total!

How many cars are there altogether?
4 + 4 = ?
Awesome! 4 cars + 4 cars = 8 cars total!
